Specific - Don't be vague, know exactly what you want to achieve, whether that be an uplift in sales, increased brand awareness or changing attitudes
Measurable - Make sure that whatever your objectives are you are able to see a change and quantify the results of your campaign. You need to be able to see tangible results to measure success or know which areas need improving
Achievable - Set objectives that give you something to aim for, challenge yourself and your business but don't overstretch your capabilities
Realistic - if you are a new brand to market then it's probably not realistic to set an objective to achieve 100% market penetration and take the biggest market share within a month on a budget of £5...
Time bound - Finally always make sure to set a time limit on when you need these objectives met, it may be a week, a month or a year but it's important to set a goal to measure success against
